History: Born in the east to a Miller, Fonkin learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. A gifted student he started as a Sage, but he got bored and became a Barkeep. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.
