Personality: Miles wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Aristocrat, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Half-Elves.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Laborer. He tends to his Laborer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Gnomish compassion; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

History: He was born in the east. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered east to less war torn lands. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he seems to be bored by most things
