He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

He carries with him a set of shields on his belt, each one with a jet on the hilt. He wears a top hat to cover his moderate length auburn hair. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady amber eyes.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. At a young age his mother died while driving off some drow. His father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in shield use. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Description: He wears skinny pants and wears a brown and yellow robe with the hood down. He cuts an attractive figure and his suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. He has dyed his greying red hair a little too much giving a sharp red color. His eyes are gray and catlike.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Painter born in the past three hundred years. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: Born in the north to a Painter, Lamlis learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His father worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled father and took his father's old job. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and balancing his hectic life and new painter responsibilities is difficult
