History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Born in the east to a Cartwright, Cask learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Cartwright. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Personality: Wiggan hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his poetry career. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
