Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents were killed by giants in a raid when he was still a young child. The giants captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

History: He was born in a small plains village. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He was granted divine powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and wants to work out more often

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Half-Elves in Lance's homeland. Lance decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and he uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs
