Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. A true patriot, Howard would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Miller hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: Calcitro lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Layabout. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Layabout for hire.

History: Skirt was born with his father's beautiful face. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He struck the Brewer job and began his own company from there.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his writing with anyone who is interested.

History: Aelar hails from a village terrorized by brigands. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
