History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Ernest was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Sage they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Ploughman, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Description: He wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. He is bristling with hidden weapons, mostly shortspears and maces. His head has been shaved. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines brown.

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. Gilbert enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Gilbert grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Gilbert. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His divine abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and to share knowledge with the world

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Gerbo lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Herbalist. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: To pay off his debts; and he has passion for adventuring and risk
