History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He struck the Navigator job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and doesn't want to be a navigator and was forced into it by his family

History: Alberich was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.
