History: Marbas was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. History: The child of a Engraver, who enjoyed hunting, Direcris was taken on many hunting expeditions. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Direcris was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was granted psionic powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
