History: Heian was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Expert, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Expert in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: Hirrathak was born with his mother's beautiful face. His childhood dream was to be a Barkeep, but he was a colossal failure. He has worked as a Map Maker like his mother before him.

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his greatsword with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt, and is pretty ugly. He sports a long golden beard, and similarly colored long hair. He has a dull look in his gray eyes.

Personality: Lucan is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and a rival would like him out of the picture
