History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the west were limited. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Taklinn was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Money/treasure.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends.

He wears a Stetson hat to hide his balding. His green eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he is greedy
