He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he loathes his own lifestyle

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. The war was a terrible time for him, and Quarethon does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
