Description: He is an average looking western male in his early mid-life. He does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. His red hair is heavily combed to the right. His green eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: Chay was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Chay fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and wants to raise his children well

His hazel eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and he is greedy

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: He got into the Detective business at a young age. When Elaim reached his early adolescence his Dwarf mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He has worked as a Detective like his mother before him.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Detective responsibilities is difficult; and to reunite with his absent mother

He wears a broad hat to cover his moderate length scarlet crest. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable.
