Cairn liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Ulfgar was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Ulfgar's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Ulfgar and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Alston grew up listening to his father's many stories. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Alston grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Alston. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
