History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Body Guard hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. The war was a terrible time for him, and Cressel does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Cressel alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it
