The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Krûk fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Heian was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His childhood dream was to be a Shoemaker, but he was a colossal failure. Some 6 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Heian never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the south were limited. He has dedicated himself to building a better kind of golem.
