During his travels, Ghaliver and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Ghaliver discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Ghaliver fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the south. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Gardain lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother.
