He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Dwarven doctor. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Nykkan was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Nykkan's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Nykkan and his spouse have recently divorced.
