History: He got into the Bounty Hunter business at a young age. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Gilbert alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He tends to his Bounty Hunter job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: To settle down with his crush; and he has a crush on the local scribe

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Dain was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Dain's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. In the meantime he has taken over work as a Laborer and occasionally as a mercenary.

A freak accident while working with his Seamstress mother left him crippled. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
