Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: Born in the west to a Ploughman, Raer learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. Through the years after Raer was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Raer's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Healer they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Ploughman, and he later adopted a second daughter.

History: Shamash was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Fortune-teller hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He now spends his time doing works of charity.
