History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. Through the years after Peren was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. History: Born in the west to a Mason, Shadow learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. A gifted student he started as a Bookbinder, but he got bored and became a Mason. He now owns his own business.
