History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. Through the years after Howard was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Howard's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Description: He dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head, and he perpetually has his warhammer ready. He has a silver handlebar mustache and slicked back silver hair. His amber eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Efferil will drive conversation. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of illithids once and for all.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Bather arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. In his youth he was a Brewer, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger sister on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Efferil was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it.

Description: This late middle aged man wears a fine chain shirt which he covers with grey colored cloaks and clothing and is in decent physical shape. His chestnut hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His hazel eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He has worked as a Miner like his father before him.

Motivation: He wants revenge against orcs; and someone believes him a fraud

Description: He very much looks the part of a Layabout. He cuts an attractive figure and his suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. His hair is chestnut and very short. He has a dull look in his gray eyes.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Geoffrey was born with his father's beautiful face. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Layabout. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Layabout responsibilities is difficult.
