History: Qualen was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Adept, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Adept in service of a powerful lord somewhere. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

History: Five was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. Five liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Cook they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Performer, and he later adopted a second son.
