Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: River was raised in a hard working conservative environment. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving River alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He became a Spice Merchant soon after.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Uthemar fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
