Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. He wears a small hat to hide his balding. He has blue eyes.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He receives visions of the future at random moments

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Thorpe fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
