History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Elaim was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Elaim was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Unemployed for the past few years.

Personality: He considers himself the perfect gentleman. He makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Halflings.

History: Oren lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the south were limited. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Shivering hails from a village terrorized by giants. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Assassin. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.
