Personality: He hates illithids. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and someone believes him a fraud

Description: An older man who wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle, he is not a threatening figure. He has styled his brown hair well, parting it to the right. He tend to wears goggles to shield his eyes.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Description: A pudgy man standing about 6'4" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He wears a white vest and prefers black and green shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. His hair is brown and very short. His blue eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Through the years after Hugh was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Hugh's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Hugh and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: He is a Hunter first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Korfel was raised in a hard working conservative environment. While he appears to be a normal Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He became a Hunter soon after.
