Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Patrin grew up listening to his father's many stories. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying north to reunite his family. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
