Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Dragonborn companion (his 'brother'). He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. Through the years after Howard was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Howard's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He now spends his time doing works of charity.
