History: The child of a Carter, who enjoyed hunting, Gardain was taken on many hunting expeditions. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: This man tends to wear a large white jacket. He has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized opal on his right hand. His black hair is greasy and uncared for. His hazel eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the east. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, gnolls burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying east to reunite his family. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: He is an attractive man, lean and moderately muscular. He is wearing colorful clothing, dressed as a Sage. His hair is white and curly. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are amber.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He is ready at a moment's notice to give into his darker urges. He is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. He often ends up burning people alive in the fires he starts.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Hadarai grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Hadarai. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

His chestnut hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Barber work with an outfit from a few towns over. Barber work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has worked as a Barber like his mother before him.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he's looking for his big break
