Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and to reunite with his absent father

Description: This man is very fat, and wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath his coat. His silver hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines blue.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. The war was a terrible time for him, and Ûkshak does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Born in the north to a Scribe, Ûkshak learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Scribe.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Scribe responsibilities is difficult; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He takes great joy in being the best Jeweler in town.

History: Warryn was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Ostracized due to the martial powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Gnomes became a terror of the countryside. He struck the Jeweler job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he is unsatisfied with his job
