Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. He is bald on top and has large red tufts of hair around his ears. His blue eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.
Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.
History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Frederick took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up sai and armor he uses now. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: To get a good night's sleep.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of illithids once and for all.
History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He married young, but lost his spouse to illithids. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: Revenge; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: Nadarr is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.
History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He was granted necromantic powers by his dying sister.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out
