History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Knight arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Through the years after Hugh was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south.
