History: He was born in a small island village. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Mercenary for the past few years.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Mercenary responsibilities is difficult; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Richard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Being a Mortician kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored.
