History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He wears just a violet suit. His long red hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Alston embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Through the years after Alston was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Alston's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.

Description: He is perpetually draped in fineries, but all of this concealed by his earthly robes.. Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of brigands may trigger it at times.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many brigands want him driven away; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Half-Orc conditions. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
