History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: Rathkran hails from a village terrorized by giants. At some point he was captured by giants and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Many giants want him driven away; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it

After coming to the age of reason, Alvyn took it upon himself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He was granted necromantic powers by his dying sister.
