Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Aldous grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Aldous. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and to prove his worth to the world

History: Purban was born the youngest of three triplets. He found a children's book about a Halfling Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 5 years.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and he is unsatisfied with his job
