History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. Some 10 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Thorin never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A freak accident while working with his Barber mother left him crippled. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.
