History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His mother worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled mother and took his mother's old job. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Cartwright and was forced into it by his family; and to reunite with his absent mother

He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: Gifted from a young age, Beiro studied abroad. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Brug was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He saw the violence of war and the aftermath so he converted to religion and dedicated himself to non-violence.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it
