Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He now mingles about in high society.

He found a children's book about a Tiefling Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. Some 10 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Zephan never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.
