Description: A middle-aged man, he wears a black vest and prefers brown and black shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down, and is pretty ugly. His brown hair is braided into rings. His amber unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. The war was a terrible time for him, and Anselm does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. After a long history of fighting, Anselm and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle.

Description: 5'9" and muscular, this western man wears light armors faded through time and improper care. He wears a small hat to hide his balding. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his amber eyes.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: Hugh lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His first spouse was a Knight, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and to unite with his sister

Description: This eastern man is renowned for his bright green suits and hats. His clothes are grease stained in places. His hair is red and curly. His half smiles and gray eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was born at the edge of vast forest. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Interpreter they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Barkeep, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers.

Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he wears tattered old clothes. He has red fur. His blue eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Ruler profession.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Shipwright hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Expand his business; and wants to have a good time and be beloved
