History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
