Personality: Bertram wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Adept, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Bertram was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

History: Nicholas hails from a village terrorized by drow. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He has never given up on his singing dream.
