His thin eyebrows rest above his beady amber eyes.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the south. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Erias grew up listening to his mother's many stories. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Dwarves became a terror of the countryside. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero.

History: He was born in the north. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, gnolls burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying north to reunite his family. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and he wants revenge against gnolls

Description: This light-skinned male is dressed in an above average manner. He is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. He has shaved his head bald. This blue eyed northerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion
