History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. His parents enrolled him in a Barbarian school at a young age so that he could practice his divine talents. Being a Interpreter kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he has decided he is irredeemable

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Gildmak alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
