History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Personality: Ernest is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Ernest fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 28. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He's also a talented Dyer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Navigator responsibilities is difficult; and further expansion of business

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He has achieved small success as a Cartwright.

Motivation: He is content.
