History: He comes from a rich eastern family. At some point he was captured by dire rats and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Watson grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. During his travels, Watson and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Watson discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Watson fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.
