His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Roger took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up greataxe and armor he uses now. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Roger was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. Through the years after Charles was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Charles's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and he is terrified, and will act out of fear
