History: He was born in a small island village. Through the years after Quarion was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. History: He was born in a small forest village. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world

History: He was born into a rich family. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
