History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Heian grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Heian. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Shoemaker for hire.

Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He wears a worn and beaten armor. His white hair is knotted and matted. His eyes are a pleasant brown.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: He got into the Shoemaker business at a young age. He found a children's book about a Gnome Cleric who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He struck the Shoemaker job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Shoemaker and was forced into it by his family; and he is unsatisfied with his job
